Primary Healthcare and COVID-19 Vaccine distribution in-Nigeria
This compilation of infographics to portray the state of Primary Healthcare Centres is particularly relevant not only for tracking COVID funds in Nigeria but also to increase citizens’ engagement with the government on transparency and accountability issues in the healthcare sector by monitoring and reporting the state of PHCs across Nigeria. It is no news that the Nigerian healthcare system has worsened in the wake of the pandemic. As the health sector struggles to meet up with the requirements of basic standards, quality and efficiency, FollowtheMon- ey conducted investigations in Primary Healthcare Centres s in 15 States across Nigeria, to assess their readiness to receive and distribute vaccines across the country.
