There have been about 257,893 infections and 5,606 coronavirus-related deaths reported in Zimbabwe since the pandemic began.

Daily reported cases were at an average of 800, but peaked at about six-thousand two hundred (6,200) on December 10, 2021, however, there was a glide of a small number of cases from June 3, 2020, till July 5, 2022, which in turn states there are still more cases being recorded at the moment. Daily deaths peaked at 81 deaths on July 29, 2021, however, still averaged around 20 - 60. Zimbabwe administered at least 12,045,572 doses of COVID-19 vaccines so far, about 3.6% of the country’s population would have been vaccinated if every person needed 2 doses.
